If I told you we could increase your sales by 4.92% simply by changing one word on your website, would you believe me?
You’d be forgiven for saying “I don’t believe it!” but it was true in the case of USB-Flashdrive.co.uk
USB-Flashdrive.co.uk has been offering free printed and engraved logos on their flash drives for years and this information was freely available on their site. However on their main products page it wasn’t quite so obvious.
A simple A/B Test was setup on the page in less than thirty minutes. The test focused on rewording a single heading,
‘Engraved or Printed Logos’
Two other versions were created and run simultaneously with the original. These were:
‘FREE Printing or Engraving’ and ‘Free Logo Printing’

The results of the test showed ‘Free Logo Printing’ to have a 1.41% conversion improvement over the original, but ‘Free Printing or Engraving’ was by far the most successful with a 4.92% increase in conversions.
The results demonstrate the power of testing even the tiniest of details on your website and the massive increase it can have on your sales.
