Jenny Holt Shortlisted for Google’s Women in Search Initiative
We are delighted to announce that our very own Head of Paid Search, Jenny Holt, has been shortlisted for Google’s Women in Search Initiative.
Working together with The Drum, Google collected nominations for women who have made the most impact in the field of search marketing. These nominations were then whittled down to a list of 50 – of which our fabulous Jenny is one!
Jenny joined us 6 years ago as a Senior Search Executive. Since then, she has driven tremendous growth across the PPC department and built up a highly talented team of PPC Managers, who she has successfully led in achieving outstanding results for our clients such as Tottenham Hotspur, Mizuno and The Conran Shop.
In 2014, after a year of juggling work and study, Jenny gained a postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from the IDM – adding further to her already excellent knowledge of digital marketing.
On being shortlisted, Jenny made the following comments:
“It is an honour to be recognised for my achievements by such an important initiative for women in search. It is only when I step outside of ConversionWorks, that it occurs to me just how much of an issue gender imbalance is for the industry. Just last month, I attended an event where only a third of speakers and participants were female. This is surprising, given how relatively new-age the field of search marketing is. To be part of something that celebrates the opportunities for women across the sector is hugely exciting and I hope it inspires a lot of women to take up a career in our wonderful world of search!”.
Voting is now open to decide the final shortlist of three women, who will then be invited to pitch to the judging panel of The Drum Search Awards. The overall winner will be announced at The Drum Search Awards in June.
