ConversionWorks wins Best Retail/ Ecommerce PPC Campaign at the DRUM Search Awards

It was a tough night for competition at the Drum Search Awards, with some of the UK’s biggest agencies and retail clients going head-to-head for the prestigious title of Best Retail/Ecommerce PPC Campaign. Amongst those shortlisted, were MediaCom and DFS, Summit and Argos, and iProspect and Asda. However, it was ConversionWorks that won on the night.

Our winning entry explained how we adopted a new approach to campaign measurement for our client, BISSELL Direct, that allowed us to optimise for profit, rather than revenue. By measuring profit, we were able to demonstrate the true return on BISSELL’s PPC investment. After 6 months of focussing all our optimisations on profit, AdWords ROI increased by 60%. Quite clearly, an award-worthy result.

For BISSELL, the move to profit-measurement has been such a success that we are starting to introduce the idea to our other ecommerce clients. We aren’t aware of any other agency providing this level of insight yet – but we fully expect this is where the industry is headed.

The DRUM Search Awards celebrates companies and individuals at the forefront of the search industry. They are the described by the judges as ‘the one to win’ – which is exactly what we did!
